Plumbfast™ Competition Rules

Good luck to all competitors! Follow these rules to ensure a fair and competitive event.

Dates & registration

Installation

Competitors must use the tools supplied for the competition.
All fittings must be tightened properly.
AVG ECV & PTR must be installed.
Insulation must be applied to all relevant parts, including zip ties.

Time Penalties

One False Start: 10 seconds for a restart.
Additional Copper: 10 seconds if additional copper is required.
Rough Work: 10 seconds for work deemed rough or messy.
Loose Connections: 10 seconds for loose copper olive connections.

Judging Criteria

Competitors will be judged based on:

Accuracy of work.
Neatness of the work.
Overall time taken to complete the challenge. (maximum of 15 minutes.)

Time Limit

Each contestant has a maximum of 15 minutes to complete the installation.
